If it is possible to have actual real love for a map, that's what I'm feeling about this.

Love London. Love the tube.

I'm such a tragic geek but I love that map!

There was a politically correct underground map that changed names like WHITEchapel and Shepherds BUSH that was quite amusing.

Can't find it now

The famous anagram Tube map was so much fun, it was banned by solicitors acting for killjoy TfL.
Never mind, here's a link to it:

Re: Geographically correct map of the London Underground.
Seeing this actually reminded me of something completely pointless I wanted to do in my early days of risk management on BT's international phone network, using pre-windows graphics packages.

Draw a line down the exact centre of the Thames. From that line run a perpendicular to each station on the Underground network. Keeping the length of that perpendicular constant,"pull the Thames straight" and see where each station ends up, and the lines that run between them.

I had far too much time on my hands back in the day..

Isn't Crossrail 2 slated to use the already full-to-capacity Thameslink Snow Hill Tunnel, sock?

Or have I got the wrong exciting TfL project?

That odd bend in the line between East Ham and Barking is where the depot is.
